Today is the blog hop for the 7000 Bracelets of Hope. The rules were simple...make a bracelet in an adult size in blue. Then send bracelet to The Global Genes Project - an advocacy group for children's rare disease awareness. The Global Genes Project then sends the bracelets they receive out to 7,000 families that have children who suffer with rare diseases. Just to show them that somebody cares...so they will have a reminder that there is hope!
My creation includes a variety of materials and shades of blue...denim blue sodalite, czech glass, amazonite, aquamarine, and copper. I also used an enameled filigree bead and an enameled , resin "hope" charm that I created. I like the different shades of blue all together...it makes me smile! I finished it with a simple, magnetic clasp for ease in wearing. I hope my recipient likes it!
Wow, 112 participants in this hop....go visit them and see what they created!
