Thank you, Barbara Lewis and ArtBliss...

I am having so much fun playing with enamels and incorporating it into my style.

Here are some new earrings featuring enamel!

enameled filigree, copper caps, sterling and copper earwires

enameled copper disks, carnelian, copper flower charms, sterling earwires

enameled filigree cones, czech glass, and sterling

enameled brass disks, unakite, sterling silver

Want to know more about torch-fired enameling?  Check out Barbara's Painting with Fire Ning group or her blog.

I took Barbara's workshop at ArtBliss, back in the spring.  ArtBliss' September workshop featuring classes by several other great artists still has space available...go take a look!

  3. OMG these earrings rock!!! I would like to have made those earrings. I would love to see those earrings in my shop. Love the earthy style of the enamel!! the multi-colors on the filigree balls are wonderful.

  4. Looking great!

I can't wait to take another class with her in October so I can take my time and really figure things out (and learn not to burn things up with the torch I have at home!)

  5. Melissa...your earrings are always perfection. I've never seen such consistently sized handmade earwires!!! I just can't do that...thus I rarely make earrings! These are all so gorgeous... and your enameling is fantastic. Makes me want to get out my torch again - it's been too long. Barbara's class rocked!
