Random Friday

Hi friends...I have been offline for what seems like an eternity!  Thought I would throw myself back in the blogverse with a random post!

...the whole family had dental hygiene appointments this am...now my teeth hurt!  The lady who did mine was really poke-y!

...have been having a great time getting to know and love my new Kindle Fire that Santa (Jesse) brought me for Christmas.  Although, I was hoping I would be able to load Square or the Propay "swipe card" thingy...that was a bit of a rude awakening!  I am enamoured with being able to watch any Netflix instant download I want, check Facebook and email, not to mention the books!  Have already read Hunger Games for free, and am about to start "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter"!  I know, right?

...have been totally non-jewelry designing for the last few weeks.  My muse sort of went on holiday and hasn't found her way back yet.  I am hoping to entice her with a cleaner, more un-cluttered studio.  Have made some progress, but it is very slow going!

...do have some sweet things I made before the holidays that I need to get up on the Etsy...a cool jasper and carnelian necklace...

and this fun soldered and etched butterfly bracelet...

...am a bit ashamed to admit, but I started playing B's Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Wii game a week or so ago, and have become a tad addicted!  I am terrible at it...I  keep dying in lakes of lava and other horrific, dramatic scenes, but it is so fun, especially when I find colorful gems!  B is so frustrated with me, he has been "mentoring" me and teaching me the finer points of wielding the different weapons, but I am a bit uncoordinated and need more practice.  He says, "just let me get you through this area"...and I won't let him!

...looking forward to signing up to take a Richard Salley class at ArtBliss this May...registration opens on Sunday!  I want to take them all, but will probably just opt for the ring class.

I guess that is it for now!  Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!  Thanks for stopping by :)
