Melissa, I hope that any of your family and friends who are there are safe. It was such a devastation to see and watch on tv..thoughts and prayers to everyone.
All the photos were lovely and then WHAM. Which really puts things into perspective, doesn't it?Big hugs (when are we getting together? The Gaithersburgh, MD, May 7th & 8th, Bead Society ofGreater Washington, Activity Center at BOHER Park, perhaps? One of my favorite silver vendors will be there).
My family and I lived in Tuscaloosa for 14 years -- we understand the grief you're feeling for the city and its residents...
Mixed feelings ... joy and sadness ... which is the true essence of life I guess. Went to a Latin mass on Easter ... boy was that a blast from the past! The kids enjoyed it and the music was beautiful.
My heart and prayers go out to you.
Melissa, thank you for sharing all of your joyous pictures from the week. I'm so sorry about the devastation - and in your hometown no less. It truly unfortunate and horrible what so many have endured in the South.
I love reading your comments!!!
