I should be writing my "Celebration" Blog for ArtBeadScene Blog Carnival, but am in an emotional and creative slump right now, and for some reason, can't muster up anything even close to a celebratory mood for it.
Here are a few pieces made in the last month or so that I don't think I have shared with you...
|
Copper and sterling riveted together, embellished with turquoise |
|
Copper disks punched with lots of holes, dapped and enameled |
|
Hammered copper fibula, embellished with a carnelian leaf and copper flower charm |
Pretty stuff! Hope you are ok!
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces and I hope everything else will turn out alright!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are in a slump - your work is amazing - love the first pair of earings :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, Melissa! I love all of them, but your fibulae are really fantastic. I haven't tried to make one yet....maybe I will do that this weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteLooooove that fibula Melissa, but all of your work is oustanding!
ReplyDeletehate those slumps! everything's just gray and flat. get some good sleep! do something you enjoy that doesn't take any energy. it will pass! love that enamel, and the copper and silver together! sometimes you just don't feel celebratory and that's perfectly OK.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous (as is ALL your jewelry). I'm hoping you're ok, and I get the slumps, too. Maybe take the day off, go do something you really love to do, and do something decadent, just for you, even if it's something as simple as getting a gourmet bar of chocolate and eating it ALL.
ReplyDelete((((Melissa)))) I love all the pieces!
