It just won me a gift certificate from Jelveh Designs...the fabulous glass artist who made the ribbon bead that is the focal of this bracelet! She contacted me a while ago and asked if I wanted to enter her "Beauty Contest"...items created with 1 or more of her beads were eligible. I said "Yes!!", and didn't really think about it until I got a Facebook message this morning (thank you Sue!) saying 'hey you won Jelveh's contest'!
Wow! Needless to say, I am very happy to have a gift certificate from one of my fav bead makers, but I am humbled that a judge from Fire Mountain Gems chose my bracelet from all the glorious work that was submitted. One of my idols, Lori Anderson, was a winner as well! Yay, Lori!!!
Thanks again, Jelveh, and to everyone who has sent me wonderful comments. They mean much more than you know :) Now, off to do a bit of bead shopping !
